The High Court also directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the case to file the status report in the matter by November 25, the next hearing date.
The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court on Monday reserved its order in the Hathras gangrape case, on a petition alleging the administration and the police of lack of proper handling of the probe. The court expressed concern over the Uttar Pradesh government not taking any action against District Magistrate Pravin Kumar.
