A tourist fell in the sea while taking a boat ride near Mumbai’s Gateway of India on 9th January. A team of Coastal Police and Colaba Police rescued the woman from drowning. According to Mumbai Police, the woman lost control and fell into the water after a strong ocean current hit her boat. Also, amid the surge in COVID-19 cases in Mumbai, Mayor Kishori Pednekar on January 09 visited Gateway of India and requested people to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
