In a video clip in connection to moral policing case in Mangaluru, six students from a medical college were stopped by Bajrang Dal for travelling together in a vehicle. The Bajrang Dal activists had reportedly assaulted the students and questioned Hindu girls about accompanying Muslim friends. Five have been arrested in connection to the incident. Later, Police clarified that the group of students had two Christian boys, a Muslim boy and three Muslim Girls
