On the morning of March 2nd, Russian troops struck one of the buildings of Kharkiv National University, Karazina. The building of the Faculty of Sociology was destroyed, a large-scale fire broke out on the site. Liliia Zmii, Spokesperson at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, told reporters that “The frontal side of the building was damaged, some classrooms were on fire. Fortunately, lecturers, students and employees were staying at home, as the educational process was suspended. Hence, there were no casualties”.
