Alisha heads the Parle Agro CSR initiatives since 2016 and is a passionate voice for creating grass root impact. She has been responsible for strengthening the social impact efforts of the organization. She founded the Prakash Jayantilal Chauhan Foundation (PJCF), a not-for-profit organisation focused on unearthing potential for individual growth, community building and furthering sustainability in 2019. The foundation has been one more step in creating a deeper focus on helping communities and individuals thrive. Alisha is passionate about knowledge-building efforts, inclusivity and holistic well-being and has built a diverse team at the foundation to ensure that every program undertaken by the foundation is viewed from this astute lens. It is also why the foundation began its journey by attempting to understand the most urgent community-focused challenges and developing programs in response to those challenges that reframe the agency of the individuals who live in those communities. Leading from the front, in 3 short years, Alisha has already launched 2 programs that address the needs of communities in both urban and rural spaces, by spawning a clear vision for the foundation; that of ‘transforming lives to inspire an inclusive and self-reliant society.’ The programs developed take a holistic view of not only transforming lives through self-reliance in every aspect; right from infrastructure challenges to access; but also weave in sustainability frameworks along each touch point.
